This Cisco DWDM-SFP-5979-I compatible SFP transceiver delivers 1000Base-DWDM throughput over SMF using a 1559.79nm wavelength and LC connectors, with a transmission distance of up to 80km. It is guaranteed to be 100% compatible with the equivalent Cisco optical transceiver. This easy-to-install, hot-swappable transceiver is programmed, uniquely serialized, and tested with data traffic and applications to ensure proper initialization and identical functionality. DOM support is also included, providing access to real-time operating parameters. This transceiver complies with the Trade Agreements Act (TAA). ProLabs transceivers are RoHS-compliant and lead-free.
