Introduction
This Fortinet FG-TRAN-EX compatible SFP transceiver provides 1000Base-EX Ethernet transmission up to 40 kilometers over single-mode fiber (SMF) at 1310nm wavelength via LC connectors. The product is guaranteed 100% compatible with the equivalent Fortinet optical module. This easy-to-install, hot-pluggable transceiver is programmed and uniquely serialized, and has been tested with data traffic and applications to ensure consistent initialization and performance. Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) functionality is also present, allowing access to real-time operating parameters. This transceiver is compliant with the Trade Agreements Act (TAA). ProLabs transceivers are RoHS compliant and lead-free.
