Introduction

This Fortinet FS-TRAN-SFP SR compatible SFP+ optical transceiver delivers 10GBase-SR throughput, supporting transmission distances up to 300 meters over multimode fiber (MMF) via an 850nm wavelength with LC connectors. The product is guaranteed to be 100% compatible with equivalent Fortinet optical transceivers. This easy-to-install, hot-swappable transceiver has been programmed, uniquely serialized, and subjected to data traffic and application testing to ensure consistent initialization and performance. Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) functionality is also integrated, allowing access to real-time operating parameters. This transceiver complies with the Trade Agreements Act (TAA). ProLabs transceivers are RoHS-compliant and lead-free.
