Introduction
The Finisar SFP28 optical transceiver delivers data transfer rates up to 25GBase-SR, supporting transmission distances up to 100 meters over multimode fiber (MMF) using an 850nm wavelength and LC connectors. The module guarantees full compatibility with equivalent Finisar optical transceivers and features easy installation with hot-swap capability. Each module is programmed, uniquely serialized, and tested for data traffic and application performance to ensure consistent initialization and operation. Additionally, the Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) function provides access to real-time operating parameters. This optical transceiver complies with the Trade Agreements Act (TAA), and ProLabs optical transceivers are RoHS-compliant and lead-free.
