Introduction

This HP JBX80U compatible XFP optical module delivers 10GBase-BX throughput, with transmission distances up to 80km over single-mode fiber (SMF), using LC connectors and 1490nm Tx/1550nm Rx wavelengths. The product is guaranteed to be 100% compatible with equivalent HP optical modules. This easy-to-install, hot-pluggable optical module is programmed and uniquely serialized, and has been tested with data traffic and applications to ensure consistent initialization and performance. Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) functionality is also present, allowing access to real-time operating parameters. This optical module complies with the Trade Agreements Act (TAA). ProLabs optical modules are RoHS compliant and lead-free.
