Introduction

This Ciena NTK586BNE5 compatible SFP module delivers 1000Base-DWDM transmission over single-mode fiber (SMF) up to 80km, using a 1542.94nm wavelength via LC connector. The module is guaranteed to be fully compatible with the equivalent Ciena module. This easy-to-install, hot-pluggable module is programmed, uniquely serialized, and tested with data traffic and application testing to ensure it initializes and performs the same functions. DOM support is also present, allowing access to real-time operating parameters. The module is Trade Agreements Act (TAA) compliant, and ProLabs' modules are RoHS compliant and lead-free.
