Introduction

This Ciena NTK591MB compatible SFP optical transceiver delivers 1000Base-CWDM throughput over SMF using a 1490nm wavelength and LC connector, with a transmission distance of up to 40km. The transceiver is guaranteed to be 100% compatible with the equivalent Ciena optical transceiver. This easy-to-install, hot-swappable transceiver is programmed and uniquely serialized, and has been tested with data traffic and applications to ensure consistent initialization and performance. DOM functionality is also present, allowing access to real-time operating parameters. This transceiver is compliant with the Trade Agreements Act (TAA). ProLabs transceivers are RoHS compliant and lead-free.
