Introduction

This Ciena SFP transceiver delivers 1000Base-BX throughput up to 10km over SMF via LC connector at 1490nm Tx/1310nm Rx wavelengths. The transceiver is guaranteed 100% compatible with equivalent Ciena transceivers. This easy-to-install, hot-pluggable transceiver has been programmed, uniquely serialized, and tested for data traffic and application compatibility to ensure proper initialization and equivalent performance. DOM functionality is also integrated, allowing access to real-time operating parameters. This transceiver is TAA compliant, and ProLabs transceivers are RoHS compliant and lead-free.
