Introduction

Perle 10 Gigabit optical transceivers are interchangeable compact media connectors that enable a single network device to connect to various types and distances of fiber. Compatible with Perle 10 Gigabit Ethernet media converters and third-party devices supporting SFP+ and XFP transceivers. Links exceeding 30 km with the same link power budget are classified as engineered links per the IEEE 802.3ae standard. Unless otherwise specified, transmitter and receiver power values are average values. The minimum fiber cable distance for all listed modules is 2 meters.
