Introduction

IF-D95T and IF-D95OC are high-sensitivity photo logic detectors in "connectorless" plastic fiber optic packages. The detectors contain an IC with a photodiode, linear amplifier, and Schmitt trigger logic circuit. The IF-D95T features a totem-pole output compatible with TTL/CMOS, while the IF-D95OC has an open-collector output. These devices can drive up to 5 TTL loads over a supply voltage range of 4.5 to 16 volts. The optical response spans 400 to 1100 nm, enabling compatibility with a wide variety of visible and near-infrared LED and laser diode light sources. The detector package incorporates an internal microlens and precision-molded PBT housing to ensure efficient optical coupling with standard 1000μm core plastic fiber optic cables.
