Introduction

NS 8 / NS 8-TB is a serial-to-Ethernet server module that converts serial data to Ethernet data. It supports multiple Modbus gateway modes as well as TCP/UDP/MQTT/HTTP IoT gateway modes, enabling network connectivity for various serial devices and PLCs. The module adopts an LCC package for easy integration onto PCBs. The NS 8-TB test kit includes a built-in USB-to-TTL circuit, eliminating the need for an external converter. It also exposes reset and factory restore pins for external buttons, and connects status indicator pins to external LEDs for convenient operation and status monitoring.
