Introduction

PN1-S25 is a Profinet-to-Modbus RTU gateway module designed for industrial communication, enabling Modbus data mapping to Profinet. The product integrates via a GSD file, allowing read/write access to Modbus devices without any coding, and supports rapid data configuration and transmission to a PLC. All Modbus commands are loaded in module form, and the memory mapping between Profinet and Modbus is intuitive and can be viewed in STEP 7 or TIA Portal. Status bytes can be loaded to query the connection status of Modbus devices for real-time monitoring. Supports Modbus RTU (master/slave) protocol. The product features a 1.27mm stamp-hole interface in a compact form factor for easy system integration. The PN1-S25-TB test kit is powered via a Type-C interface and provides 2 independent RS485 serial ports and 1 Ethernet port to meet diverse communication requirements. All LED indicators, functional pins, and reset pins are brought out; the reset pin supports an external button for convenient operation, and the status indicator pin connects to an external LED for easy status monitoring.
