Introduction

The NE2-S1 single-port serial server module enables bidirectional transparent data transmission between serial and Ethernet interfaces, with internal protocol conversion handled automatically — no implementation details required from the user. The module supports multiple Modbus gateway modes as well as MQTT client/HTTP client IoT gateway modes, meeting the networking requirements of various serial devices and PLCs. Built to industrial-grade design standards for reliable operation, the product features a 1.27mm stamp-hole interface in a compact form factor for easy system integration.
