Introduction

RSGD is an extremely compact and easy-to-use three-phase AC induction motor soft starter, rated up to 100 Arms. Start-up parameters can be easily configured via 3 selector switches. Integrated motor overload protection (Class 10) and Modbus communication enhance installation flexibility.

Features

• Easy to use. The RSGD features a self-learning algorithm that automatically adjusts startup parameters to optimize motor starting and stopping.
• Fast installation and setup. Only 3 settings required (full load current, acceleration time, and deceleration time).
• Compact dimensions. The 12–45 Arms models use a 45mm wide housing; the 55–100 Arms models use a 75mm wide housing.
• Integrated protection. Diagnostic functions provide additional protection. The RSGD also features overload protection (class 10).
• Torque control during deceleration. Smoother load deceleration.
• Comprehensive monitoring. The RSGD is equipped with a Modbus/RTU communication port via 2-wire RS485 connection.
• Guided selection. An easy-to-use selection tool is provided to choose the appropriate soft starter model based on application type.

Applications

The RSGD soft starter is an ideal solution for three-phase fixed-speed AC induction motor applications where reduced starting current and/or reduced stress during motor starting and stopping is required. The RSGD offers numerous integrated diagnostic features, replacing additional components within the electrical panel. Typical applications include: compressors, pumps, and fans.
