Introduction

The Automotive PLED Series (PLEDxS - A) open-type LED protector provides a switched electronic shunt path when an open-circuit fault occurs in any LED within an LED string. This ensures that if a single LED fails, the remaining LEDs in the string continue to operate. The series is specifically designed for automotive applications such as automotive headlights, tail lights, LED indicator protection, aircraft runway lighting, and other applications requiring high reliability. Compatible with 1W, 2W, and 3W LEDs with a nominal 3V forward characteristic.
