Introduction

This series of devices consists of a gallium arsenide phosphide LED. The LED is optically coupled to an IC with a power stage. These optocouplers are ideally suited for high-frequency driving of power IGBTs and MOSFETs in plasma display panel drives, high-performance DC/DC converters, and motor control inverter applications. A 0.1μF bypass capacitor must be connected between the VCC pin and ground.
