Introduction

The 2EDL803x is designed to drive high-side and low-side MOSFETs in a half-bridge configuration. The floating high-side driver is capable of driving a high-side MOSFET with operating voltages up to 120V bootstrap voltage. Version 4 provides full 4A current capability, while version 3 provides 3A. The high-side bias voltage is generated using bootstrap technology with an integrated bootstrap diode. The driver inputs are TTL logic compatible and can withstand input common-mode swings from -10V to 20V. Independent inputs allow separate control of the high-side and low-side domains. UVLO on the high-side and low-side supplies forces the respective outputs low when the supply is insufficient. The 2EDL803x is available in SON-8 4mm×4mm, SON-10 4mm×4mm, and SON-10 3mm×3mm packages.
