Introduction
The ACNV3130 contains an AlGaAs LED optically coupled to an integrated circuit with a power output stage. This optocoupler is ideal for driving power IGBTs and MOSFETs used in motor control inverter applications. The high operating voltage range of the output stage provides the drive voltage required for gate control devices. The voltage and high peak output current provided by this optocoupler can be used to drive discrete power stages, making it well-suited for directly driving IGBTs rated up to 1700V/100A. For higher-rated IGBTs, this optocoupler can be used to drive a discrete power stage, which in turn drives the IGBT gate. The ACNV3130 features the highest insulation voltage of VIORM = 2262Vpeak per IEC/EN/DIN EN 60747-5-5.
