Introduction

CCi8333 is a 5.7kVRMS reinforced isolated gate driver for IGBTs and MOSFETs, featuring split outputs with 6A source and 10A sink current capability. The device effectively drives IGBTs and MOSFETs with 75ns typical propagation delay and 10ns maximum pulse width distortion. The input side is isolated from the output driver by a 5.7kVRMS reinforced isolation barrier, with a minimum common-mode transient immunity of 200V/ns between the two sides. The output drive side accepts a maximum supply voltage of 30V, while the input side supply voltage range is 3V to 5.5V. All supply voltage pins feature UVLO protection, with the output held low during undervoltage conditions. An integrated desaturation fault detection function blocks the isolator output and initiates a soft shutdown upon fault detection. The device is available in an SOP16W package with an operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.
