Introduction
The MP3182 is a high-speed MOSFET gate driver optocoupler with a 3.0A output current rating. It consists of an AlGaAs LED optically coupled to a CMOS detector power stage integrating both PMOS and NMOS output power transistors. The device is ideal for driving power MOSFETs in plasma display panels, motor control inverter applications, and high-performance DC/DC converters. It comes in an 8-pin DIP package, compatible with 260°C lead-free reflow soldering processes.
