Introduction

CCi8332 is an isolated dual-channel gate driver with 4A peak source current and 6A peak sink current capability. The driver supports IGBT and SiC, with a typical propagation delay of 40ns and maximum pulse width distortion of 7ns. The input side is isolated from the two output drivers by a 5.7kV_RMS reinforced isolation barrier, with a typical common-mode transient immunity of 150V/ns between the two sides. The internal functional isolation between the two secondary-side drivers supports operating voltages up to 1500V (DC). The device can be configured as two independent single-side drivers or a half-bridge driver with programmable dead time. When the Disable pin is pulled high, the device is disabled and the outputs are forced low; when the Disable pin is pulled low or left floating, the device operates normally. The output drive side accepts a maximum VDDA/VDDB supply voltage of 30V, and the input-side VCC accepts a supply voltage of 3V to 5.5V. All supply voltage pins feature UVLO protection; under undervoltage conditions, output pins VOA/VOB are held low. CCi8332 is suitable for high-reliability, high-power-density, and high-efficiency power supply applications, available in SOP16W, SOP14W, and LGA 4×4 packages, with an operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.
