Introduction

SL5350S/M is a single-channel isolated gate driver with 3.75kVrms (D) and 5kVrms (DW) isolation, featuring 8.5A peak source current and 10A peak sink current. It effectively and safely drives SiC/Si MOSFETs and Si IGBTs. Low propagation delay and a compact SOIC-8 package enable MOSFETs to switch at frequencies up to hundreds of kHz. The wide output VCC2 operating range of 9.5V to 33V effectively drives Si or SiC MOSFET and IGBT power switches. Integrated UVLO protection ensures low output is maintained under abnormal conditions. The input VCC1 operates in the range of 2.5V to 5.5V, supporting most digital controllers. With an integrated isolation barrier, the SL5350S/M supports isolation up to 3.75kVrms (D) and 5kVrms (DW). Gate drive control of MOSFETs/IGBTs via an isolation barrier or level shifting is highly convenient.
