Introduction

CA-IS3740VLN is a high-performance quad-channel digital isolator with precise timing characteristics and low power dissipation. When isolating CMOS digital I/O, the CA-IS3740VLN provides high electromagnetic immunity and low emissions. All device versions feature Schmitt-trigger inputs for high noise immunity. The logic input and output buffers of each isolation channel are isolated by a silicon dioxide (SiO2) insulation barrier. The CA-IS3740VLN has all four channels in the same direction, with output enable on the output side (Side B) and failsafe mode options. If the input-side voltage or signal is lost, the CA-IS3740VLN defaults to a low output.

The CA-IS3740VLN features high isolation capability, helping to prevent noise and surges on data buses or other circuits from reaching the local ground and interfering with or damaging sensitive circuitry. High CMTI capability ensures correct transmission of digital signals. The CA-IS3740VLN is available in a 16-pin narrow-body SOIC package with an isolation rating of 3.75 kV RMS.
