Introduction

The TPT772x devices are high-performance, dual-channel enhanced digital isolators compliant with UL 1577, featuring isolation ratings of 5000-VRMS (WSOP8, WSOP16) and 3750-VRMS (SOP8). These devices are certified by VDE, UL, CSA, TUV, CQC, and CB. The devices deliver highly reliable, high-performance isolated digital inputs and outputs at low power consumption. Each isolated signal channel is isolated through a dual-layer silicon dioxide capacitive insulation barrier. The TPT7720 has both channels in the same direction, while the TPT7721 has the two channels in opposite directions. For devices with the suffix F, the fail-safe default output is low when input power or signal is lost; for devices without the suffix F, the default output is high. Through innovative circuit design and optimized architecture, the common-mode transient immunity and EMC performance of the TPT772x devices are significantly enhanced. The TPT772x family is available in SOP8, WSOP8, and WSOP16 packages, with an operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
