Introduction

The CMT8100 and CMT8101 series are high-reliability bidirectional isolators with I2C-compatible interfaces, compliant with AEC-Q100 and UL1577 safety requirements, supporting multiple electrical isolation voltage ratings (3.75 kVrms, 5 kVrms). These devices deliver low power consumption while offering high electromagnetic immunity and low emission characteristics. The I2C clock frequency reaches up to 2 MHz, with common-mode transient immunity of up to 150 kV/µs. A wide supply voltage range enables direct connection to most digital interfaces for seamless level shifting. High system-level EMC performance further enhances device reliability and stability.
