Introduction

This series of robust, low-power digital isolators are CMOS devices that offer significant advantages over traditional isolation technologies in terms of data rate, propagation delay, power consumption, size, reliability, and external BOM. All versions feature CMOS thresholds and Schmitt-trigger inputs for high noise immunity, requiring only VDD bypass capacitors. Supporting data rates up to 150 Mbps, all devices have a typical propagation delay of 10 ns. The series includes inverting output product options. Options also include isolation rating selection (3.75 and 6 kVRMS) and a failsafe operating mode option for controlling the default output state during power-down. All products are certified to UL, CSA, VDE, and CQC safety standards. Wide-body package products support 6.0 kVRMS voltage with 1-minute withstand capability per UL 1577. Automotive-grade products are available. These products are manufactured using automotive-dedicated processes at every step of the manufacturing process to ensure the robustness and low defect rates required for automotive applications.
