Introduction
The ADUM1286BRZ digital isolator delivers superior performance characteristics and reliability, outperforming optocouplers and other digital isolator technologies. It employs a next-generation intelligent voltage division technique based on capacitive voltage division principles, enabling precise transmission of voltage signals across the isolation barrier without modulation or demodulation. Each transmission channel operates independently, supporting multiple transmission direction configurations, with isolation voltage ratings from 1.5kV rms to 5.0kV rms and signal transmission rates from DC to 600Mbps. It supports 3.0V operating voltage and is compatible with 3.0V to 5.5V signal level translation. When the input-side power supply is unpowered or no input signal is present while the output-side power supply is active, the isolator output defaults to a defined logic level.
