Introduction

The MAX22663–MAX22666 devices use Analog Devices proprietary process technology and are a family of 6-channel, reinforced, fast, low-power digital isolators. All devices feature reinforced isolation with a withstand voltage rating of 5kVRMS (for 60 seconds). Both automotive-grade and general-purpose devices operate over an ambient temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. Devices with the /V suffix are AEC-Q100 qualified. These devices transfer digital signals between circuits in different power domains, with power consumption as low as 0.71mW per channel at 1Mbps (1.8V supply). The low-power characteristics reduce system power consumption, improve reliability, and support compact designs. The devices offer data rates up to 25Mbps or 200Mbps, along with default-high or default-low output options. They feature low propagation delay and low clock jitter, helping to reduce system latency. Independent 1.71V to 5.5V supplies on each side also make the devices suitable for use as level translators. The MAX22663 transfers digital signals in one direction on three channels, with the remaining three channels transferring in the opposite direction. The MAX22664 provides four digital signal transfer channels, with two channels in each direction. The MAX22665 provides five digital signal transfer channels, with one channel in one direction and the remaining channels in the opposite direction. The MAX22666 transfers digital signals in one direction across all six channels.
