Introduction

CA-IS2092W is an isolated RS-485/RS-422 transceiver with integrated isolated power supply, featuring high electromagnetic immunity and low radiated emissions. The device operates in half-duplex mode. The CA-IS2092W provides high insulation capability, helping to prevent noise and surges on the data bus or other circuits from entering the local ground and interfering with or damaging sensitive circuits. High CMTI capability ensures correct transmission of digital signals. The CA-IS2092W is available in a 16-pin wide-body SOIC package, supporting isolation voltage up to 2.5 kV_RMS. The CA-IS2092W is a half-duplex transceiver supporting both RS-422 and RS-485 communication, with failsafe, overcurrent protection, and overtemperature protection features.
