Introduction

The TPT7261x devices are high-performance, bidirectional I2C-compatible isolators compliant with UL 1577, featuring an isolation rating of 3750-VRMS (SOP8 package). The device family is also certified by VDE, UL, CSA, TUV, CQC, and CB. These devices provide high reliability, high performance, and low power consumption while isolating logic inputs and outputs. Each isolated signal channel is isolated through a double-layer capacitive silicon dioxide insulation barrier. The TPT72616 features one bidirectional data channel and one unidirectional clock channel, while the TPT72617 features two isolated bidirectional channels for both clock and data. The TPT72616 is suited for single-master applications, while the TPT72617 is suited for multi-master or slave clock stretching applications. Through innovative circuit design and optimized architecture, the TPT7261x devices achieve significantly enhanced common-mode transient immunity and EMC performance. The TPT7261x series is available in a TSOP8 package with an operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
