Introduction

The ADN4622/ADN4624 are quad-channel, signal-isolated low voltage differential signaling buffers operating at up to 2.5 Gbps with ultralow jitter. The devices integrate iCoupler technology enhanced for high-speed operation, providing plug-and-play galvanic isolation for LVDS signal chains. AC coupling and/or level shifting at the LVDS receiver and the output of the LVDS driver make it possible to isolate other high-speed signals such as current mode logic. This product family incorporates a refresh mechanism that monitors input and output states to ensure they remain consistent in the absence of data transitions. To achieve high-speed operation with low power consumption and low jitter, the LVDS and isolator circuits are powered by a 1.8 V supply. The ADN4622/ADN4624 are fully specified over the wide industrial temperature range and are available in two packages: a 28-lead wide-body fine-pitch SOIC_W_FP with 8.3 mm creepage and clearance, and a 6 mm × 6 mm LFCSP with 1.27 mm creepage and clearance.
