Introduction

The TI DLP470TE digital micromirror device (DMD) is a digitally controlled MEMS spatial light modulator (SLM) designed for bright full 4K UHD display solutions. When used with an appropriate optical system, the DLP470TE DMD can display true 4K UHD resolution (over 8 million screen pixels) and project accurate, sharp images onto a variety of surfaces. The DLP470TE DMD, together with the DLPC4422 display controller and DLPA100 power and motor driver, forms the DLP 0.47-inch 4K UHD chipset. This solution is ideal for many high-brightness 4K UHD display systems.
