Introduction

The DLP650TE digital micromirror device (DMD) is a digitally controlled MEMS spatial light modulator (SLM) designed for high-brightness 4-K UHD display systems. The 0.65-inch 4-K UHD chipset consists of a DMD, DLPC7540 display controller, and DLPA100 power and motor driver. The compact chipset delivers a complete system solution for small-form-factor 4-K UHD displays. The DMD ecosystem also provides off-the-shelf resources to help users accelerate design cycles, including production-ready optical modules, optical module manufacturers, and design houses.
