Features

These monolithic decimal decoders consist of eight inverters and ten 4-input NAND gates. The inverters are connected in pairs so that BCD input data is available to the NAND gates for decoding. Full decoding of valid input logic ensures that all outputs remain off under all invalid input conditions.

The inputs and outputs of the '42A, 'L42, and 'LS42 BCD-TO-DECIMAL decoders, '43A and 'L43 EXCESS-3-TO-DECIMAL decoders, and '44A and 'L44 GRAY CODE-TO-DECIMAL decoders are compatible with most TTL and other saturated low-level logic circuits. DC noise margin is typically one volt.
