Introduction

The 96L02 is a dual TTL monostable multivibrator featuring trigger mode selection, reset capability, fast recovery, internally compensated reference levels, and high-speed operation. Output pulse duration and accuracy depend on external timing components, allowing user control for each application. It is well suited for a wide range of applications, including pulse delay generators, square wave generators, long delay timers, missing pulse detectors, frequency detectors, clock pulse generators, and fixed-frequency dividers. Each input is equipped with a clamping diode to limit undershoot and minimize ringing caused by fast falling edges acting on system wiring impedance.
