Introduction

The DLP230GP Digital Micromirror Device (DMD) is a digitally controlled MOEMS spatial light modulator (SLM). When coupled with an appropriate optical system, the DLP230GP DMD can display very sharp, high-quality images or video. The DLP230GP is part of a chipset consisting of the DLP230GPDMD and DLPC3432 and DLPC3472 controllers. The DLPA2000, DLPA2005 or DLPA3000 PMIC/LED drivers also support this chipset. The DLP230GP's compact form factor makes it ideal for portable devices where small size and low power consumption are priorities. The compact DLP230GP DMD, together with the controller and PMIC/LED driver, forms a complete system solution delivering a small form factor, low power consumption, and high-quality display performance.
