Introduction

ML22660 is a 4-channel mixed voice synthesis LSI with a serial flash memory interface for sound data. It features an I2C interface (slave). Employing HQ-ADPCM, a 16-bit D/A converter, and a low-pass filter for high sound quality, it integrates a 1.0W mono speaker amplifier capable of directly driving a speaker. It also includes a fault detection function. All functions required for sound output are integrated in a single chip, enabling sound functionality simply by adding this LSI.
