Introduction

TDA7318 is a volume, tone (bass and treble), balance (left/right), and fader (front/rear) processor for high-quality audio applications in car radio and hi-fi systems. Selectable input gain is provided, with control implemented via a serial I²C bus microprocessor interface. AC signal settings are achieved using resistor networks and switches combined with op-amps. Thanks to the BIPOLAR/CMOS technology employed, low distortion, low noise, and low DC stepping are realized.
