Introduction

The STV82x6 consists of three main sections:

1. TV Sound Demodulator: Provides all necessary circuits for audio transmission demodulation of European and Asian terrestrial TV broadcasts. Various transmission standards can be automatically detected and demodulated without user intervention.
2. Audio Processor: Based on DSP technology, independently controls speaker, subwoofer, and headphone signals. It offers basic and advanced features such as ST Wide Surround, equalizer, auto loudness, and intelligent volume control to enhance viewer comfort. The STV8226/36 versions also support SRS 3D Surround processing for stereo and mono signals.
3. Audio Matrix: 3 stereo and 1 mono external analog audio inputs connected to speakers and headphones, with 2 stereo external analog audio outputs (SCART compatible).
