Introduction

CD3313L is an audio processing IC featuring volume, tone (bass, treble), balance (left, right), and loudness (front, rear) control, designed for high-quality car audio and hi-fi audio systems. The device offers input gain selection and local loudness control, with all functions operated via a serial I²C bus connectable to a microprocessor. A wide range of AC frequency response characteristics can be configured through external RC networks in conjunction with internal op-amps. Fabricated using a high-performance bipolar/CMOS process, the device achieves low distortion, low noise, and minimal DC offset drift. This circuit is a low-voltage version with a typical operating voltage of 5V.
