Introduction

UA10 is a low-cost, high-performance universal asynchronous audio codec chip that achieves precise clock synchronization without requiring an onboard PLL to sync with the host clock. It is compatible with all OS versions from Windows XP through Windows 11, and seamlessly connects to iOS devices via MFi extension cables. The chip features highly flexible I2S master and slave mode configurations, making it ideal for audio systems where an external DSP provides the clock and recovers the audio clock to synchronize with the host audio clock — ensuring the entire system operates on a single audio clock without additional PLL components or any sample rate conversion algorithms. UA10 also supports GPIO and ADC port expansion, with custom development services available.
