Introduction

1N5283UR-1 through 1N5314UR-1 are available in JAN, JANTX, JANTXV, and JANS package types. These are current regulator diodes in a leadless surface mount package with metallurgical bonding characteristics. The operating temperature range is -65°C to +175°C, and the storage temperature range is likewise -65°C to +175°C. At +75°C with TEC = +125°C, the DC power dissipation is 500mW, with power derating of 10mW/°C above TEC = +125°C, and the peak operating voltage is 100 volts. The DO-213AB hermetic glass case (MELF, LL41) is used with tin/lead lead finish. The thermal resistance (ROJEC) is 50°C/W maximum (at L = 0 inches), the thermal impedance (ZOJX) is 25°C/W maximum, and the striped (cathode) end is negative during diode operation. The device has an axial coefficient of expansion (COE) of approximately +6PPM/°C; a mounting surface system compatible with this device must be selected.
