Introduction

Available in 1N5283-1 through 1N5314-1 types, qualified to JAN, JANTX, JANTXV, and JANS standards. These are current regulator diodes featuring high source impedance, with metallurgical bonded and double plug construction. Operating temperature range is -65°C to +175°C, with the same storage temperature range. DC power dissipation is 500mW at TL = +50°C with L = 3/8", derated at 4mW/°C above +50°C, and peak operating voltage is 100 volts. Housed in a hermetically sealed glass case (DO-7 outline), with copper-clad steel lead material and tin/lead lead finish. Thermal resistance is 250°C/W maximum (L = 0.375 inches), thermal impedance is 25°C/W maximum, polarity is negative at the marked (cathode) end, weight is 0.2 grams, and mounting position is unrestricted.
