Introduction
The LA Varistor Series transient voltage surge suppressors are radial-leaded metal oxide varistors (MOVs) designed for continuous operation on AC power lines. These UL-recognized varistors require minimal mounting space and are offered in a variety of standard lead configurations. The LA Varistor Series is available in four case sizes: 7mm, 10mm, 14mm, and 20mm; with maximum AC RMS voltage ratings ranging from 130V to 1000V and energy absorption capability up to 360J. Select LA Series part numbers offer a choice of clamping voltage, designated by the suffix A or B appended to the part number.
