Introduction

The varistor consists of a low-β ceramic disc and two solid copper leads (H20 type only) or copper-clad steel wires. These leads feature a matte tin plating. They are coated with an ochre-colored halogen-free epoxy resin compliant with UL 94 V-0, which provides electrical, mechanical, and climatic protection. The encapsulant material is resistant to all cleaning solvents in accordance with IEC 60068-2-45.
