Introduction

The CH Series Transient/Surge Suppressors are metal oxide varistors (MOVs) in a miniature leadless chip form. They are suitable for a wide range of applications from low-voltage DC to off-line board-level protection. These devices have a significantly lower profile than conventional radial-leaded varistors, enabling designers to reduce the size and weight of their equipment designs while improving reliability. CH Series varistors offer a voltage range of 14V to 275V (V_MIACJRMS) with energy ratings up to 8J. See also the Littelfuse Multilayer Suppressor Series.
