Introduction

The A5MC series is a RoHS-compliant thermal fuse. It is a high-performance thermal fuse/resistor component combining a cement resistor with a fusible alloy-type thermal fuse, featuring overtemperature protection. It employs a coil-wound construction to enhance surge current withstand capability. In the event of any circuit fault, it reliably interrupts the circuit with minimal variation in characteristics. After actuation, it provides exceptionally strong electrical insulation and voltage withstand performance, with virtually no residual resistance or re-conduction issues. It is free of lead (Pb) and cadmium (Cd), compliant with RoHS. As of June 2015, it does not contain any of the 163 Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs) listed under REACH.
