Introduction

Designed to meet industry technical requirements, primarily for applications with strict product size and space constraints. Ceramic gas discharge tubes utilize inert gas sealed within a ceramic tube to provide an alternative circuit path for voltage spikes. The ceramic housing and nickel connectors support high loads. The SMF90X series ceramic gas discharge tubes feature a surge rating of 20kA at 8/20μs. This series is well suited for broadband equipment applications. Its low off-state capacitance is compatible with high-bandwidth applications, and the capacitance value remains constant regardless of the voltage across the GDT.
