Introduction

The SH series gas discharge tubes provide high-level protection against fast-rising transients caused by lightning strikes. Surge rating: 5kA, 8/20μs. Square SMT package simplifies PCB assembly. This GDT series is well-suited for broadband equipment applications. The low off-state capacitance is compatible with high-bandwidth applications, and the capacitive load remains stable regardless of voltage variation across the GDT. This series is designed for SMT applications to protect electrical, multimedia, and communications equipment against overvoltage transients.
