Introduction

The SL1003A series is specifically designed for broadband equipment. Its special design provides a high level of protection against fast transients with rise times in the range of 100V/μs to 1kV/μs, typically caused by lightning strike interference. These devices feature an extremely low capacitance of 1.5pF, resulting in negligible signal loss at frequencies up to 1.5GHz. These devices are extremely robust, capable of shunting 5000A pulses without damage. For prolonged AC power cross conditions, overcurrent protection is recommended.
